Ultra-cool special effects and a fun comic-movie tone highlight this adaptation from Korea. The results are meant to disposably entertaining, and the filmmakers succeed - for the most part. Volcano High has enough to make it worth seeing!
Kim Kyeong-su is a student who was dismissed from several schools until he arrives to the Volcano High School. There, the school is divided in several crews, like the crew of the Rugby Team or the female Kendo Team. Jang Ryang is the captain of the weight-lifting team and he reachs the privilege of being the most powerful of the school, the number one.
All this in an ambient in where the teachers and pupils have a fight (literally) where the stronger one is the winner.
