One Man Band

 

One Man Band, the latest short film from Pixar Animation Studios, tells the humorously captivating tale of a peasant girl who, with one coin to make a wish at a piazza fountain, encounters two competing street musicians who’d prefer the coin find its way into their tip jars. As the rivalry crescendos, the two overly eager performers vie to win the little girl's attention.

Need For Speed Carbon

I like listening my best mp3 music and at the same time rush from becoming brutal cops.

I also have to change my keyboard couse "shift"-key was totaly broken.)

It's the firs game I've played. So since it I kinda like every 3D-video-games.
There are so many Final Fantasy but this one I played more than once, it is deep in my heart now.

Devil may cry

long time before...  than I came back working again after my vacation, so I hadn't a lot of time to play this game,  so just wonder how could I finished it thus fast!
It's good, real fun with just very fast came to the end. There so much terrible and unnecessary killings. I can say it had too more violence that needed, but after a usual  hard office-working day it seems to be reall relax!

Fable

I've played (Albion) Fable I, it was real good, for those with high intelligence game. The second one looks even more grate!  We will  impatiently waite   it  till  this october!

Witcher

The Witcher - is a nice and a little bit cruel game.

Giving players a tantalizing taste of the world of The Witcher, the demo begins with the first part of the prologue in which the seeds of the story are sown and the white haired witcher Geralt learns the rudiments of combat. The prologue is followed by the entirety of Act 1, during which Geralt of Rivia will see the first threads of the story weave their web around him and be called upon to slay man and beast to stay alive and earn his keep. 

 


 

Mushishi

Hmm. Can’t seem to find the words to describe it.
There’s something about this series that makes it feel spooky to me, even though it’s not scary at all. It’s definitely different from your usual fare.

It’s a supernatural series. A guy goes around helping people within his area of expertise. Sounds boring?
Well, uh, it’s not.

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo

It is based the classic epic tale by Alexandre Dumas.

For those who are expecting an adaptation faithful to the story, there is a surprise: the story is simplified to a narrow line following the Count’s revenge and those who become involved and or manipulated by the Count’s actions. While the original story is told in the Count’s perspective, the anime is seen through the eyes of Albert de Morcerf, the son of Mercedes, who was the Count’s love interest, and Fernard Morcerf(Mondego).
It is also important to note that some of the characters’ fates are altered or changed.

Gankutsuou is set in the far future, during the year 5053, with blends of science fiction and fantasy and yet it retains 18th century French customs, especially class and wealth; as well, the introduction of each episode is spoken in French.

The art is very different. The actual drawing isn't so much different, but the texturing is not like anything I've seen before. It was really distracting for the first couple episodes.
All of the textures such as hair and clothing are very detailed. It's like they took a photo of plaid or some other textile material and laid it behind the artwork. As the characters move, the textures don't. After awhile though, it blends in perfectly and it's not noticable.
I think in certain scenes it really highlights aspects of the character that couldn't be done in any other way. There's a scene at the opera where the guest of the Count, Haidee is wearing an amazing, flowing dress that would have not been anywhere near as spectacular without the textures behind it.
It also works really well as the Counts hair, it makes him seem even more mysterious and dark. And when Gankutsuou shows himself on the Count, it's near frightening with the swirling colors.
